What’s special about CONQOR 87B WATERSTOP? The built in delay system that activates after approximately 8-24 hours of constant exposure to water! No fear of rain or site water prematurely swelling exposed waterstop. (For slower swell, see CONQOR 47B).
CONQOR 87B WATERSTOP is a butyl hydrophilic polymer based gasket, manufactured using a remarkable mixing process which encapsulates hydrophilic materials into a rubber base creating a controlled, moisture activated gasket.
This gasket has the structural integrity of a rubber based sealant; the features of a butyl sealant; as well as the ability to expand to create a SELF-HEALING JOINT MATERIAL.

How it works.
CONQOR 87B WATERSTOP absorbs water from the fresh concrete poured against it. CONQOR 87B WATERSTOP has been tested to withstand a 70-metre head of pressure and because of its butyl properties actually bonds to both concrete surfaces. CONQOR 87B WATERSTOP is ideal for use in horizontal and vertical construction joints for cast in-situ concrete and precast concrete structures.
CONQOR 87B resists and functions as required with multiple wet/dry cycles, with no loss in performance.
CONQOR 87B WATERSTOP does swell in salt water, however the rate of expansion is reduced.
CONQOR 87B is packaged in a carton with a total of 30 meters, consisting of 6 rolls, each measuring 5 meters.
