What’s special about CONQOR 47B Waterstop Gaskets? The built in delay system that activates after approximately 3+ days of constant exposure to water! No fear of rain or site water prematurely swelling exposed waterstop. (For faster swell, see CONQOR 87B).
CONQOR 47B Waterstop Gasket is a butyl hydrophilic polymer based gasket, manufactured using a remarkable mixing process which encapsulates hydrophilic materials into a rubber base creating a controlled, moisture activated gasket.
This gasket has the structural integrity of a rubber based sealant; the features of a butyl sealant; as well as the ability to expand to create a SELF-HEALING JOINT MATERIAL.

How it works.
CONQOR 47B WATERSTOP does not absorb water from the fresh concrete poured against it, eliminating risks of the gasket expanding and causing the curing concrete to spall/de-bond directly above the gasket.
CONQOR 47B WATERSTOP has been tested to withstand a 70-metre head of pressure and because of its butyl properties actually bonds to both concrete surfaces. CONQOR 47B WATERSTOP having delayed controlled swelling will not expand prematurely if exposed to moisture prior to the concrete being poured; eliminating risks of any pre-expansion if the joint becomes ponded with water. This gives the contractor peace of mind knowing that the material will not expand prior to the second pour of concrete after the framework shutters are in place. CONQOR 47B WATERSTOP is ideal for use in horizontal and vertical construction joints.
CONQOR 47B resists and functions as required with multiple wet/dry cycles, with no loss in performance. CONQOR 47B WATERSTOP does swell in salt water, however, the rate of expansion is reduced.
CONQOR 47B is packaged in a carton with a total of 30 meters, consisting of 6 rolls, each measuring 5 meters.
